Email Policy + Terms

1. Program description
sitelee operates an email program with two streams: (a) transactional emails tied to a project, quote, or account — sent regardless of marketing consent, and (b) marketing emails sent only to opted-in subscribers. Marketing content includes product announcements, educational guides, case studies, special offers, and operator notes.
2. How you opt in
You opt in to marketing emails by (a) checking the email-marketing consent box on a sitelee form, (b) subscribing through a sign-up widget on the site, or (c) responding affirmatively to an opt-in confirmation message. Opt-ins are recorded with timestamp, IP, and source.
3. Frequency
We aim for 2–6 marketing emails per month. Frequency may increase briefly around product launches or new educational releases. You can adjust preferences or unsubscribe any time.
4. CAN-SPAM compliance
Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link, our business name and physical address, and an honest subject line. We do not use deceptive routing or relay through unauthorized servers. Unsubscribe requests are honored within 10 business days (typically immediately).
5. Service providers
Marketing emails are sent through Klaviyo, Inc. ("Klaviyo"). Transactional emails (quote replies, project notifications) may be sent through Resend (https://resend.com) and/or Klaviyo. Both providers process your email address and engagement events (opens, clicks, bounces) on our behalf.
6. How to opt out
Click the "unsubscribe" link in the footer of any marketing email. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE or email hello@sitelee.io. Once unsubscribed, you will only receive necessary transactional messages relating to projects, payments, or account changes.
7. Data handling
We do not sell or rent email lists. See our Privacy Policy for full data-handling details.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision.
